About the Position
Port Chester Eye Care is a medically focused optometry practice serving Port Chester, Greenwich, Rye, and surrounding communities. We are hiring a part-time Clinical Optometrist to join our team.
While our office includes a full-service optical offering eyewear and lenses, this position is strictly clinical. You’ll provide full-scope optometric care — including routine eye exams and medical treatment for conditions like dry eye, infections, and allergies. All pretesting is handled by our staff, allowing you to focus on patient care, diagnosis, and treatment.

- Location: 44 N Main Street, Port Chester, NY 10573
- Schedule: Weekdays only (Mon–Thurs), occasional Saturdays. No evenings.
- Hours: 12–28 hours/week (flexible)
- Pay: $725–$825/day or $91–$103/hr (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive eye exams (routine + medical)
- Diagnose and treat ocular disease
- Contact lens fittings and follow-up
- Medical documentation (EMR)
- Referrals and co-management

Ideal Candidate
- Holds active NY State optometry license
- Comfortable seeing children age 5+
- Strong in medical optometry and confident with diagnosis/treatment
